Tech pack reviewer — 16 checks before a tech pack leaves the studio

What you get

A skill that reviews a tech pack the way a factory's technical team reads it on day one: page by page through cover, flats and callouts, measurements and tolerances, materials, construction, labels and packaging, and approvals, against 16 pre-production checks. Findings come back as page/section → problem → fix → severity, then the ticked checklist, a verdict and the questions it could not answer from the pages. It also checks only the measurements, writes the revision request to the designer and drafts the sign-off summary. It never invents a value in a fix and never approves. Runs in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude Code.

Use it for

• Review a tech pack section by section and get page-level findings with fixes and severity
• Check only the measurement pages: POM by POM, tolerance and how-to-measure present or not
• Turn findings into a revision request to the designer, blockers first, with a due date

Quick start

1. Unzip and open README.md.
2. Claude: Settings → Capabilities → Skills → upload SKILL.md. ChatGPT: paste platforms/chatgpt-instructions.md into a Project. Gemini: paste platforms/gemini-gem.md into a Gem. Claude Code: copy platforms/claude-code/.claude/ into your project.
3. Paste the Review prompt from PROMPTS.md and attach or describe your tech pack.

For every point of measure list: code · description · has tolerance? · has how-to-measure sketch or text? · comment. Then check: no blanket tolerance covering all points; grade rules attached or referenced; every POM refers to a detail that exists on the flats; base size marked; units consistent (cm or inches, not both). Findings as "POM/page → problem → fix → severity" (blocker / major / minor). Do not propose measurement values or tolerances — say what is missing and who should state it.
